Amber Heard's sister testified on Wednesday that she found herself in the middle of quarrels, literally and figuratively, between her sister and Johnny Depp during their tumultuous relationship.
 She said she herself witnessed Depp hitting Heard, while Depp says he never hit Heard.

Amber's sister testified that the quarrel occurred in March 2015 a month after Depp and Heard's wedding when Heard found evidence that Depp was indeed in an extramarital affair. Henriquez recounted that a drunken Depp blamed Heard for forcing him into an extramarital encounter.

and that at some point, she said, she was caught between Depp and Heard when he went up a ladder to confront Heard. Amber's sister said she was hit in the back, and Heard got angry and "landed one" on Depp, with Amber's sister stuck between the two.
 Henriquez added that one of Depp's bodyguards intervened and broke up the fight, but "by that time Johnny had already grabbed Amber by the hair with one hand and was repeatedly hitting her in the face with the other." "It was the only time" she witnessed a physical assault, Henriquez said.

But she said she saw traces of other fights, including bruises on Heard.
 She holds the title of "Marriage Counselor" for her repeated efforts to mediate disputes between Heard and Depp.
